Assistant Chief Sean Wollard has proudly served the City of Pembroke Pines since 1999 after graduating from the 193rd session of the Broward County Police Academy.
During his time with the Pembroke Pines Police Department, Assistant Chief Wollard has held the following positions, including ranks & specialized units: Youth Affairs Captain, Patrol Captain, Sergeant of the Burglary Suppression and Crime Suppression Teams, Internal Affairs Sergeant, Special Projects Sergeant, Special Operations Unit Detective, Auto Theft Detective, General Crimes Detective, Department of Homeland Security Violent Gangs Task Force Officer, Special Deputy Multi Agency Gang Task Force, Blue Lightning Task Force Officer, Field Training Officer, Crisis Response Team Negotiator, Field Force, and Patrol Officer.
Assistant Chief Wollard holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration and is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Department of Homeland Security Leadership Academy Session 7. He is currently a member of several advisory boards and committees within Broward County.
Assistant Chief Wollard has earned numerous commendations and awards during his tenure, including the Chief’s Achievement Award, Officer of the Quarter, Distinguished Performance, and recognition from the Federal Bureau of Investigation for excellence in investigative efforts. Assistant Chief Wollard was also recognized with a Community Ambassador Award from Keiser University.
Assistant Chief Wollard currently supervises the Administration Bureau, which encompasses the Support Services and Administrative Services Divisions.
